Refunds & Returns Policy
Welcome! This guide outlines how The Magic Bird Crafts manages returns and cancellations. When we use terms like “we,” “us,” or “our,” we are referring to TMBC (themagicbirdcrafts.com). References to “you” apply to our valued customers and workshop attendees.
Please note that refunds are not issued automatically. Each request is reviewed individually, and we are unable to reimburse third-party banking or transaction processing fees. To initiate a refund inquiry, please reach out via the contact form located at the bottom of this webpage.
Our Refund Approach
These guidelines serve as a supplement to your statutory consumer rights. If you are uncertain about your eligibility for a refund, please contact our team—we strive to find a fair solution for everyone. Generally, refunds are not provided for:
- Subjective reasons (such as a change of heart or personal preference)
- Financial oversights (including forgotten renewals or misunderstandings regarding paid features)
We make every effort to represent our craft supplies and services with total accuracy. While we aim for perfection, errors in descriptions or pricing may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct such mistakes and cancel orders if a product was listed with an incorrect price.
Cancellations for Courses & Workshops
We understand that plans can change. If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, please notify us as soon as possible. You may transfer your registration to a friend before the workshop begins; however, once a course is underway, transfers are no longer possible. As materials are prepared and instructor time is reserved in advance, we cannot offer refunds or makeup sessions after a course has commenced.
Cancellation Timeline:
- 14 days or more before the start date: Eligible for a full refund (less transaction fees).
- 7 days before the start date: Eligible for a 50% refund, 100% store credit, or a one-time reschedule.
- Less than 48 hours before the start: No refunds or credit vouchers can be issued.
- Non-attendance: Missing a session without prior notice results in a forfeiture of the fee without an option to reschedule.
- Cancellation by us: If The Magic Bird Crafts cancels a workshop for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
Gift Cards
All gift cards are valid for exactly 1 year from the date of purchase and are non-refundable.
Unforeseen Circumstances (Force Majeure)
In the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control—such as natural disasters, health emergencies, or utility failures—we cannot be held liable for delays or cancellations. In these rare cases, we will act in good faith to provide fair resolutions based on the specific situation.
